Abstract

|
Steroidal nitrosoureas have been synthesized and their antitumor activity on L1210 cells was evaluated. N-(2-Chloroethyl)-N-nitrosocarbamoyl-3-aza-A-homo-5alpha-cholestane (5a) showed significantly low ED50 value of 1.6mcg/ml whose activity is equivalent to that of methyl-CCNU(ED50 = 1.7mg/ml).
